On behalf of the entire club, condolences go out to the family of Dr. Richard Petty, founder, former President and long-time member of the Ogden Breakfast Exchange Club. Dr Petty passed away after a valiant battle with cancer. He will be missed greatly by his family, friends, as well as the entire membership. Dr. Petty has a long list of professional accreditations and positions he filled with many community organizations. The obituary may be seen by clicking HERE.

The Breakfast Exchange Club of Ogden installed new officers and directors for 7-1-15 to 7-1-16 at its annual summer party on 6-30-15.

These include: Joel Lee, President; Shaun Peterson, Immediate Past President; Mike, Past President; Kristie, Speaker Chair; Dick Dahlkemperer, Secretary; Travis Vadnais, Treasurer; Chris Zimmerman, At-large; Stephanie Lujan, At-large; Marshall Konzen, Director - Media; John Ulibarri, Director - Shoes For Tots.

We had a great time at our annual summer party on Tuesday evening, June 30th. Chris and Patti Zimmerman kindly hosted the group.

In years past weather has toyed with our plans and this year promised 100+ temperatures for the outdoor setting we had planned. So Chris informedus all that he and Patti would graciously move the party inside their home after putting his thinking cap on, i.e., "Hey Patti... it's hot... what should we do?"

We celebrated Shaun Peterson's wildly successful guidance as president over the past year as he led the charge to have the Hot Chocolate booth rejuvenated and we raised over $15,000 for Shoes For Tots.

The party also served to mark the beginning of a year with Joel Lee at the helm as President for 2015-2016 as well as several new members of the board. We're looking forward to building a better future on a strong past.
