Ogden City and other community partners are working to establish the Nine Rails Creative District in Ogden, Utah. This district will create new opportunities for the community to engage with art in the public realm, and will support places and programs that encourage creative people to live and work in Ogden. The core of the Nine Rails Creative District has been identified as the area between Washington Boulevard and Jefferson Avenue, from 24th to 26th Streets. However, the district will also extend west to Historic 25th Street, north to The Junction, and east into the East Central neighborhood, ensuring connectivity with existing assets. 

A resolution to adopt the district has been drafted and Ogden City Council Policy Analyst Amy Mabey said the council is scheduled to vote on it at 6 p.m. Aug. 14 at the Ogden Municipal Building, 2549 Washington Blvd.
