Tim Jackson, CEO United Way of Northern Utah

  • 26 Sep 2019
  • 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM
  • Ogden Golf and Country Club

Tim Jackson began with United Way in 2012, as the Director of the Ogden United, where he led the development of the community initiative to align community partners to a common agenda to supporting every child in Ogden having an opportunity to succeed from cradle to career. In 2015 Tim was promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Under Tim’s leadership UWNU has evolved from a pass-through agency to an agent of community change, presenting a new value proposition to the community focused on population level results. With this, the agency has seen substantial growth expanding its impact both in the central city and in rural areas of Northern Utah.

Tim, a native of Salt Lake, holds a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University (2002) in International Affairs with a focus on economics, and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Utah (2011).

Tim has been in the non-profit/education industry since 2002. After completing his bachelor’s degree Tim spent 5 years working in Latin America first as a teacher, and later coordinating volunteer placements for international students. Upon his return to Utah Tim spent five years managing a host of educational services for immigrant populations in Summit and Tooele counties before taking a position with United Way.

During his free time Tim loves spending time with his wife and two young children and running in the mountains.
