Kim Gourley, Business Development Director, American Heart Association will speak to us about the "Go Red for Women" campaign:

Go Red for Women is a year-round campaign focused on raising awareness of heart disease and stroke in women. Cardiovascular diseases claim one in three female lives. Go Red for Women empowers women in our community to take charge of their health by making small changes to their lifestyles that can significantly lower their risks. Go Red for Women also works to close the gender gap in research and STEM careers and to remove barriers women face to experiencing good health.  All funds raised through the campaign help fund life-saving heart and brain research, health education initiatives, community service, advocacy for heart-healthy legislation and quality of care guidelines for our healthcare systems.
