Superintendent Luke Rasmussen, Ogden School District
Ogden School District serves over 10,000 students in Ogden City in thirteen neighborhood elementary schools (K-6), three junior high schools (7-9), two comprehensive high schools (10-12), one technical high school, one alternative high school and one youth-in care school. The district's mission is to maximize educational opportunities for all students in a safe, nurturing environment.
Early in life, Luke Rasmussen knew that he wanted to be an educator. After graduating from Weber State University where he attended on a football scholarship, Luke wanted to give back and pursued a career in teaching and coaching. Prior to becoming the Ogden School District superintendent in 2021, Luke worked as an educator for at-risk youth, principal in both Davis and Ogden School Districts, and OSD's executive director of secondary education.
