Colonel Ronald Sloma, 419th Fighter Wing, HAFB

Colonel Ronald J. Sloma has served as the commander of the 419th Fighter Wing at Hill Air Force Base since 2023. He is responsible for providing combat-ready forces comprising 1,300 reserve, active duty, and civilian Airmen to support national objectives. Col. Sloma is a command pilot with over 3,000 hours and has served as an F-16 and F-35 instructor and flight evaluation pilot. Prior to his current position, Colonel Sloma was the Director, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Operations, Directorate of Air, Space and Cyberspace for 10th Air Force at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, Texas.
