Angel Lopez, Ogden School District Youth Court Program
The Ogden School District Youth Court program is a community-based intervention/prevention program to encourage young people to take responsibility for their actions and make better choices in the future. It is designed to provide an alternative response for the Juvenile Justice System for first-time, nonviolent misdemeanor offenses.
Angel Lopez works for the district as a community liaison and social worker. He will share his experience working with the youth appointed as judges in the Youth Court program.
